![]() BFIEC CEO Named Dep.-Energy Minister in Bulgarian Interim Government Konstantin Delisivkov has been actively involved in the development of the regulatory framework concerning power and gas market liberalization in Bulgaria
Konstantin Delisivkov, CEO of the Bulgarian Federation of Industrial Energy Consumers (BFIEC), has been named deputy energy minister in the interim government of PM Ognyan Gerdzhikov, a press release by the Bulgarian Council of Ministers announced. Delisivkov is pursuing a PhD in Economics and Sector Management (Energy) at the Economics faculty of Sofia University St. Kliment Ohridski. He has a Master’s degree in Energy Management from the Moscow State Institute of International Relations and Diplomacy from the Bodo University College, Norway. He specialised in electric engineering at the Sofia Technical University. Konstantin Delisivkov has been actively involved in the development of the regulatory framework concerning power and gas market liberalization in Bulgaria. In 2012 he headed a project studying the possibilities for developing gas transport infrastructure in the industry-driven Central Srednogorie region in Bulgaria. As of 2010, he has been an active participant in the formation and representation of the associated interest of energy intensive industries in Bulgaria, first as executive secretary and then as CEO of the Bulgarian Federation of Industrial Energy Consumers (BFIEC). He is fluent in Bulgarian, English, German, and Russian. During his tenure he will oversee the security of power supply and crises management, energy strategies and policies, sustainable energy development, and energy projects and international cooperation. ![]() No published comments Login to comment |
