Logistics company GEFCO was named Fastest Growing Logistics Company in 2012 by the Bulgarian Press Auto Club. The company success recognition award was received by Aleksander Raczynski, Managing Director of GEFCO Bulgaria at the contest ‘Car of the Year 2013’ Gala Ceremony. 
 
The awarding ceremony was carried out in the Sofia Hotel Sheraton on December 7, 2012. The finalists were selected by voting of the Press Auto Club Bulgaria members. A total of 49 journalists participate in the club, out of which 45 took part in the voting procedure.
 
The ‘Fastest Growing Logistics Company’ award distinguishes the input of GEFCO Bulgaria for developing the logistic services on the Bulgarian market, focusing on the automotive logistics as well as on building relations with subcontractors in the country – small and middle transport companies.
 
‘I am happy to receive this award which crowns our efforts during the year towards lifting up to a new and higher level the logistics services in Bulgaria. It is a recognition to the efforts of us all, of our team because it is as a team that we will progress further’, Managing Director of GEFCO Bulgaria Alexander Raczynski said at the ceremony.
 
GEFCO Bulgaria has been registered as a subsidiary on December 9, 2011 after GEFCO Group recognized the potential of the local logistics market for further growing. The unit signed contracts with key clients in the automotive sector as well as in other fields of economy. In 2012 the team achieved complete integration of GEFCO Bulgaria in the GEFCO Group’s network. This lead to enhancing the capacity, optimization of the freight flows, improving the service quality and adding value to company’s clients in Bulgaria.
 
GEFCO Bulgaria is emerging as a key GEFCO subsidiary in the region. The subsidiary in Bulgaria is gradually becoming one of the major suppliers for GEFCO entities in Germany and France with others to come. In relation to this GEFCO Bulgaria increases its partners among the Bulgarian transport companies in order to build a modern and reliable fleet. GEFCO encourages them to invest in new vehicles and drivers’ education, by providing them with long-term contracts and expertise. Bulgarian companies currently working for GEFCO will be systematically supported in their way to further development.
