Our main priority in the field of transportation infrastructure is to modernize the entire length of the rail way between the Serbian border trough Plovdiv to Burgas to the east and Svilengrad to the south, where the Turkish and Greek borders are. It is very essential to restore also the line between Ruse and Varna that connects Dunabe and the Black sea.

According to his words spoken during the Bulgarian-Australian Business Forum after the realization of this project Bulgaria will have a modern, safe and secure transportation system which gives many opportunities to the business and people at all. The government will give a lot of effort to renew  the entire existing transportation infrastructure, including highways, 1-class roads and railways. European funds will be the main financing source, added Moskovski.

“We are trying to stimulate the private sector and create beneficial environment to attract more investors.” Ministry will rely on a public-private partnership method to improve and maintain the existing sea-and airport infrastructure.

Austria the partnership between both of the countries was also a topic of discussion. Main sectors  in which we can work together are IT and communication technologies in private sector, informational security policies, e-managing standards, developing national data bases, managing information resources, joint participating in European subsidiary projects.

Minister Moskovski is part of the official delegation led by the president of Republic of Bulgaria Rossen Plevneliev.
