Bulgartransgaz to Use Kozloduy Decommissioning Fund for Finishing Two Pipelines
Tenderers from eligible countries as of 1 September 2012: the EU member states, Switzerland and the EBRD’s countries of operation. All goods and services must also originate from an eligible country
Bulgartransgaz EAD intends to use the proceeds of the Grant funds provided by the Kozloduy International Decommissioning Support Fund (KIDSF), administered by the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) and its own resources to finance the cost and complete the Project for delivery and construction of high pressure gas pipelines to, and gas regulation stations in Kozloduy and Oryiahovo.

The Project will require the following goods, works or services:
A. Delivery of steel pipes and fittings for gas pipelines
Delivery of about 70 km of steel pipes for high pressure gas pipelines, 50 km. of which are DN 300, 15 km. are DN 150 and other pipes of smaller diameter as well as fittings and two gas pigging stations (launching trap and receiving trap) required for the construction of the gas pipelines.
B. Delivery of gas valves
Delivery of gas valves for high pressure gas pipelines (ANSI 600), mainly DN 300, DN 150 and others of smaller diameter.
C. Automatic Gas Regulation Stations (AGRS).
Delivery, Supervision and Commissioning of two complete sets of technological equipment for the Construction of two Automatic Gas Regulation Stations.
D. Construction of high pressure gas pipelines and gas regulation stations
Construction and Commissioning of about 70 km high pressure gas pipelines, optical fiber cable line within the gas pipelines easement and two AGRS.
The estimated total budget for the above contracts is EUR 12.5 million.
Procurement will be carried out in accordance with EBRD Procurement Policies and Rules with the exception of country eligibility restrictions defined within the KIDSF rules and will be open to Tenderers from eligible countries as of 1 September 2012: the EU member states, Switzerland and the EBRD’s countries of operation. All goods and services must also originate from an eligible country.
The proceeds of the Grant shall not be used for the purpose of any payment to persons or entities, or for any import of goods, if such payment or import is prohibited by a decision of the United Nations Security Council taken under Chapter VII of the Charter of the United Nations or under a law or official regulation of the purchaser's country.
