The Bulgarian Industrial Association (BIA / BSK) announced that today the managing board of the organization elected as its president Mr. Sasho Donchev - president of Overgas Inc. AD. The incumbent president of the association, Mr. Bojidar Danev, is elected for executive chairman. “The decision was motivated by the need to change the organizational structure of BIA in accordance to the good EU practices. The aim is to separate the administrative management of the association from the policy-making of the organizations, which will be now the management board’s priority”, the official statement from the business association says.
Mr. Bojidar Danev, who has been chairman of the managing board of BIA for more than 17 years, will continue the management of the administrative team of the association and will coordinate the relations with state administration, social partners, NGOs, etc. The new chairman Mr. Sasho Donchev will lead the managing board and will prepare plans/programs for action of the chamber.
