26.01.2018 12:19Official: The Supervisory Board of ESO Has Taken a Decision to Change the Whole Management Board of the Operator

In relation to the expired mandate of the Management Board of ESO EAD (Electricity System Operator) composed of Ivan Yotov, Andrey Zhivkov and Milko Milkov, the Supervisory Board of the company has taken a decision that they should be relieved of duty and elects as new members Anton Slavov, Angelin Tzachev and Plamen Yordanov, ESO announced on their website. According to unofficial sources, the new Executive Director of the company will be Angelin Tzachev.
The decision has been submitted to the Energy and Water Regulatory Commission (EWRC). The regulator should issue an opinion on the proposals for new members of the Management Board. The decision will enter into force after its entry in the Commercial Register. During its first regular meeting, the newly elected Management Board will select an Executive Member and a Chairman between themselves, the operator further explained.
This is the first official information on the matter after rumours in the energy sector started last week.
