Identifying the right business development opportunities is extremely important in the current context of oil prices. For this reason, oil and gas companies are focusing on stable, easy-to-do business regions, where the opportunities are huge and the projects are flowing.

Mark Beacom, Managing Director of the offshore operator Black Sea Oil and Gas, said, “The Black Sea is at a very early stage in terms of exploration activity, compared to other regions.  Further exploration must take place, which will lead onto appraisal and then finally development.  Accessing the Black sea is challenging, although not as challenging as the more development-mature Caspian.”

Over the years, the role of the Black Sea has changed: not only have new discoveries confirmed impressive quantities of gas, but the region is now seen as an energy hub for Europe. All new and existing projects have generated an essential need for technology and oil and gas equipment, which puts the Black Sea on the global agenda for business development plans of upstream and midstream companies.

The 4th edition of the Black Sea Oil and Gas conference will welcome over 150 representatives from the oil and gas industries in order to discuss the major projects happening now in the region.

This is the leading annual event for the Black Sea states (Bulgaria, Georgia, Romania, Russia, Turkey, Ukraine). The programme will feature a two-day conference which includes presentations from the operators, roundtable discussions on specific technological and geological challenges in the Black Sea, and an extraordinary Gala Dinner.

This is an opportune moment for companies to meet the decision makers in person, and learn about which priority projects will go ahead, and which tenders are next. The expertise of the speakers is exceptional; the Ministers of Energy in Romania and Bulgaria will personaly open the event, which is being supported by the main organisations and promoters for enhancing energy security.

Many companies have already reserved their seat and exhibition stands at this high level event: Bosch Rexroth, OMV, OMV Petrom, Romgaz, Transgaz, Bulgargaz, DESFA, BP, Georgian Oil and Gas Corporation, TANAP, CB&I, Technip, Spiecapag and many more.

Publics.bg will be supporting the 4th Black Sea Oil & Gas conference as a Media Partner. A special bonus code PBG10 is allocated for our readers to benefit from additional 10% discount.
