Sofiyska Voda CEO Bruno Roche Becomes Country Manager of Veolia in Bulgaria
The responsibilities of the new title of Mr. Roche will include the business of water and energy of the company, and the developments for the three activities of Veolia (Water, Energy and Waste).

From July 1st 2015, Bruno Roche becomes Country manager of Veolia in Bulgaria. He will remain on his current position of CEO of Sofiyska Voda. The French company for utility service Veolia is a majority shareholder of Sofiyska Voda.

As country manager of Veolia, Bruno Roche will be the representative of the French company in Bulgaria. He will represent Bulgaria in the Central and Eastern Europe Executive Committee of Veolia. Around the globe, Veolia helps cities and industries to manage, optimize and make the most of their resources. The company provides an array of solutions related to water, energy and waste.

The responsibilities of the new title of Mr. Roche will include the business of water and energy of the company, and the developments for the three activities of Veolia (Water, Energy and Waste).

In this regard Bruno Roche stated:                                                                                                 

„This is an exciting challenge for me to represent Bulgaria in the Central and Eastern Europe  Executive Committee. In such a way we will be able to integrate even more successful and modern European practices, which have proved efficient in other countries. This will have a positive effect on all customers of Sofiyska Voda."

The goals which Bruno Roche wants to achieve in his new position are the use of modern technology for the improvement of the working processes in the company and the quality of the services provided by the company. Under his leadership, Sofiyska Voda works for constant dialogue with the community. One of the services, provided by the company, gaining increasing popularity is the electronic billing, which all citizens of Sofia can choose to receive. Each modernization of Sofiyska Voda aims to improve the quality of the services provided by the company.

Bruno Roche has over 25 years of experience in the WSS sector. He is appointed the position of CEO of Sofiyska Voda in April 2014. Previously, in 2010 he was chosen for president of the French Chamber of Commerce, Industry and Agriculture in Romania (CCIFER). From 2003 until 2008 he was manager of Apa Nova Ploiesti in the context of a Concession Contract for the water and sewerage systems in the city of Ploiesti. From 2008 until 2014 he was the manager of Apa Nova Bucharest in the context of a Concession Contract for the water and sewerage systems in the city capital of Romania.
