The Bulgarian Mining and Energy Forum (BEMF), together with Sofia Municipality, organise the WASTE-TO-ENERGY – TECHNOLOGIES, PROJECTS, NEW OPTIONS FOR MUNICIPALITIES AND BUSINESS conference. The event will take place March 22 and 23, 2016, in Sofia, Bulgaria, at the Hotel Balkan. The Bulgarian National Radio and Publics.bg are media partners of the conference.
The goal of the Conference is to give awareness to the municipalities and the business about new possibilities, the advanced technologies and the multiple effects coming from energy utilization of different types of wastes and biomass stipulated in the Act for the energy from renewables.
In open discussion the participants will get information about different applications of technologies, advantages and specificity of different completed projects and their performance characteristics. Different technologies will be presented by prominent equipment suppliers – direct burning, high temperature gasification and anaerobic fermentation, presenting as well their good practices in different projects. The participants will have the possibility to raise questions after each presentation, related to practical implementation of the technology, project performance characteristics and possible financing.
