"The 3rd Annual China Electric Vehicle Infrastructure Summit 2015" will be held on 26th-27th March in Shanghai.

With the support and promotion policies by China and Local government , China Electric Vehicle market is going through rapid growth spurts in 2014. While EV infrastructure, as the basis for EV industry development, play a key role in the process of EV industry promotion. Guiding Opinions on Accelerating the promotion and application of new energy vehicles issued to accelerating the construction of EV infrastructure and promoting the development of Electric Vehicles.

For EV infrastructure construction, the state encourages all parts from EV supply chain to take part in. According National energy-saving and new energy automotive industry development plan, China EV charging station is on the scale of 4000 in 2011 to 2015, synchronous promote charging station construction. while State Grid targets on 10000 charging stations in 2016 to 2020, to build up a "four vertical and four horizontal" network of EV charging stations. However, CNPC, Sinopec, State Grid and China Southern Power Grid have been subjected to obstacles during their construction of EV charging infrastructure. what lead to the slow development of EV's marketization are mainly EV's itself technology, production cost, battery life and storage capacity, lack of effective and feasible industry business operation model, while stakeholders from EV industry supply chain have begun the market games and expect the further lucidity of policy.
