Conergy AG (CGYK), a German solar-energy company, has helped develop three power plants on rooftops in France.

Conergy and French solar-energy developer Soligest installed more than 80,000 First Solar Inc. thin-film modules at three rooftop plants on warehouses in Thiers, Bollene and Montreuil with a combined capacity of 6.1 megawatts, the Hamburg-based company said in an e-mailed statement today. The facilities are operated by Soligest, Conergy said.

Recently Conergy finished a similar project concerning three HLM (“housing at moderated rents”) buildings, which allows their inhabitants to use locally produced electricity from solar power.
