The government has allocated BGN 150 000 000 as additional costs to the budget of the Ministry of Regional Development and Public Works for repairs and restoration of parts of  the national road network, the press service of the Cabinet reports. The funds will be provided at the expense of cost restructuring or transfers to the central budget for 2018. They are for repairing road sections from the republican network with a total length of approximately 480 km and the facilities on them.

Most of the road sections are extremely busy all year round - the eastern arch of the Sofia ring road - Pernik / via Vladaya /, Dimitrovgrad - Haskovo, Ruse - Varna and others. Another part of the roads to be repaired are part of the tourist routes to the Bulgarian Black Sea - "Black Sea" Motorway, kk. "Golden Sands" - Varna, Karnobat - Bourgas and others. The financin is for activities such as: milling of existing flooring, local repairs, laying of new layers of asphaltic concrete, drainage, landscaping, concrete works, laying of new waterproofing of the facilities, replacement of joints of the facilities, etc.

The investment in the repair of sections of the republic road network will improve its condition and the safety of the passengers and vehicles, which will have a real effect on the economic development of the country and the interests of the individual citizens
