There is a possibility for a new increase in price of natural gas from 1st of January. The prognosis was made by the energy expert Vasko Nachev in BNR’ show “Neshto poveche”. He also commented the incoming increase of natural gas with 14% from October.

“The reason for these 14% is not in the supplier, nor in KEVR, but it is related to the increase of price of oil, as well as old payments from Bulgargaz”, he said. Additionally, there should be a new big increase from 1 January 2019, but this would present a big risk in the middle of the heating season. In order to have a smoother increase, the price will be increased now and once again in the beginning of the year, he stated. “The increase will be of 4,8-4,9%. This will automatically block the possibility of “Toplofikatsiya” to increase the price of heating.” Nachev said.
