ABB to Build New Factory in Plovdiv
This will be the fourth production facility of ABB in Bulgaria, the other three being located in Rakovski, Petrich and Sevlievo

Swiss-Swedish group ABB plans to build a new factory for low and medium voltage components in the outskirts of Bulgaria’s second biggest city Plovdiv. The facility will be brought to reality by ABB’s Bulgarian branch.
 
ABB Bulgaria, manufacturer of electric equipment, intends to invest USD 23 million in the production facility near Plovdiv which would create employment for 600 people. The produce is meant for export in Europe.
 
The planned factory has an area of 15,000 sq. m and will be built by Sienit Holding.
 
This will be the fourth production facility of ABB in Bulgaria, the other three being located in Rakovski, Petrich and Sevlievo.
