The Exhibition is conducted under the auspices of the Defense Ministry and the Ministry of Economy, Energy and Tourism of Republic of Bulgaria on the territory of International Fair Plovdiv.

The International Exhibition is a biennale organized by HEMUS Foundation in partnership with the Bulgarian Defence Industries Association and International Fair Plovdiv, visited by official representatives, experts and research workers and citizens. Among the participants are different state institutions.

The Tenth International Exhibition “HEMUS 2012” provides excellent opportunities for governmental and military delegations, military experts and different visitors to be acquainted with Bulgarian achievements in the field of military activities as well as hi-tech military production exhibited by prominent foreign companies to be promoted.

The International Research Conference accompanying the Tenth International Exhibition “HEMUS 2012” and the other parallel events will bring forward new ideas, innovations and propositions for cooperation improvement between the research units, producers and consumers of military technologies and information systems, contributing to the improvement of mutual confidence and collaboration in the field of military activities, defense, security and the fight against terrorism.

The X-th anniversary exhibition “HEMUS 2012 - DEFENSE, ANTITERORISM & SECURITY” will take place between 30th May and 2nd June 2012 on the territory of International Fair Plovdiv. The focus of 2012 HEMUS Exhibition is on defense, antiterrorism and security. Over these three basic areas we hope to attract profiled companies as well as to organize the accompanying events such as the international research conference and demonstrations of the different kinds of troops of the armed forces.

The innovation is about planning different measures representing the preparatory activities, capabilities developed and the skills of the armed forces to respond to the contemporary threats and risks within the frames of the exhibition in front of the society.

“HEMUS 2012 – DEFENSE, ANTITERRORISM & SECURITY” is important for the exhibitors due to the expectations of visitors on the side of experts in this field, official delegations and experts from ministries, institutions and organizations. Official delegations at minister’s level are expected from 40 countries invited by the Minister of Defense of Republic of Bulgaria. Additional audience will be attracted among the experts of the Ministry of Defense, military people and students from the higher technical and military institutes to visit the exhibition and participate in the parallel events.

Bearing in mind the deepening economic crises worldwide we have tried to provide more favorable financial conditions for the exhibition 2012 participation by decreasing the area renting prices (10% lower compared to 2010 levels), as well as the prices of other granted services for the exhibitors.
It was also decided that the calculated prices of rented outdoor areas, which double the rented indoor areas for every participant will be minimal with 80% discount.
In order to stimulate the better planning of “HEMUS 2012 – DEFENSE,

You could be acquainted with all the particulars concerning conditions and prices which would facilitate your decision of participation at the web page of HEMUS Foundation: www.hemusbg.org
