Still in the next year’s first months (28 February-2 March 2012) Inter Expo Center - Sofia will host the largest industrial exhibition in the Balkans, including six fields of business.
The new format includes machinery, equipment and technologies in the sectors machine building, metallurgy and metalworking (MACHTECH EXPO), automation, robotics and mechatronics (IFAM), electronics, professional equipment and power energy (INTRONIKA). Included are industries producing plastics and rubber, chemistry and ecology (PLAST), complemented by innovations in safety and security (SAFETY & SECURITY) and the development of transport and logistics (TRANSPORT & LOGISTICS).
The innovations in these sectors contribute to the successful reforms in strategic sectors of the economy and lead to greater competitiveness in key industries.

IFAM, INTRONIKA and PLAST will be presented for the first time in Bulgaria. They have been successfully held in Serbia and Slovenia and the good experience will be presented here too.
A major business forum for professionals will be held during the days of the exhibition, which will enable experts from different fields - engineers, designers, architects, chemists, technologists, entrepreneurs, managers, investors and others to present to professional audiences their scientific, technical or production potential and opportunities for expanding the business and trade contacts. The participants have the chance to enrich their customer and distribution network, and to obtain information on the developments and trends in the industries and markets of each of these sectors.
Besides the established Bulgarian organizers of exhibitions – BCCI, Bulgarian Branch Chamber Machine-Building and Bulgarreklama Agency, the Slovenian organization ICM, which is taking part in Bulgaria for the first time, will demonstrate its significant experience in organizing technical exhibitions at European level.
